Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks a Food Service Operations Director for a seasonal, on-site role at rural summer camps across the US. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, lead staff, manage budgets, and ensure strict allergen safety in a fast-paced environment.

This live-in position runs May–Sept, with competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room & board for the contract duration. You will coordinate with campers and Wolfoods corporate while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting, and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety protocols and top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as the main liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
