Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp sites. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment on-site.

This is a seasonal, full-time, exempt position requiring a 6-day/70-hour week and on-site live-in arrangements. You’ll lead Front of House and kitchen teams, ensure scratch cooking, strict sanitation, and excellent

Qualifications

4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
Certifications: ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens awareness required prior to start.
Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; on-site living required.

Responsibilities

Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
Oversee culinary flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
Manage allergen protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
Administer inventory, purchasing, budgeting, and daily reporting.
Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate.
