Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing test and product sustainment experience.
• Experience with data acquisition and processing using MATLAB and Python.
• Experience in test automation and report generation.
• Strong root cause analysis for non-conforming hardware, software, and firmware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with electrical, opto‑mechanical, and software/firmware system integration.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own production test activities and manage production test flow; troubleshoot infrared systems.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system to component level.
• Create test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use.
• Develop library of failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Maintain and develop software for test automation, data analytics, and reporting.
• Analyze test data and prepare detailed defect and improvement reports.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing to support returns and failure analysis.
• Contribute feedback to early‑stage test design for NPI.
• Optimize test strategies to improve efficiency while preserving quality.
