Job summary

Anduril Industries in Lexington, MA is seeking a Laser/Camera Test Engineer to ensure high-quality, reliable systems through advanced automated testing and data analytics.

You will own production test flow, develop test automation software, analyze failures, and collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing teams to improve products. Experience with infrared systems and RCCA is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or physics field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and Python for data processing.
• Experience with test automation and report generation.
• Strong root cause analysis of non-conforming hardware, software, and firmware.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolve complex infrared systems issues.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system to component level.
• Generate test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Maintain and develop software for test automation, data analytics, and reports.
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing for returns and failure analysis.
• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for NPIs.
• Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports.
• Collaborate with design engineers on product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and reduced test time.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision and reliability.
