Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Laser/Camera Test Engineer to ensure high-quality production testing of infrared systems. You’ll tackle challenging problems, automate tests, analyze data, and improve test methods across teams.

A strong candidate collaborates across design, quality, and manufacturing engineering to resolve issues quickly and maintain testing excellence. You will own test activities, develop troubleshooting guides, and help shape early-stage test designs for new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physics or engineering fields.
• Experience in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Strong analysis of non-conforming hardware/software/firmware.

Responsibilities

• Own production test activities and troubleshoot IR systems.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream.
• Create test work instructions for MES and train technicians.
• Develop library of failure modes with guides/diagrams.
• Maintain software for test automation, data analytics, and reports.
• Identify root cause and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Mfg Eng teams on returns and failure analysis.
• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for NPI.
• Analyze test data and provide detailed defect reports.
• Work with design engineers on product enhancements from tests.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and quality.
• Calibrate test equipment for precision and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes.
