Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Camera Test Engineer to own production test flow and troubleshoot infrared systems. You will develop test instructions, automate data analytics, and generate reports to improve product quality on aggressive timelines.

The ideal candidate has a physics/engineering background, 3+ years in manufacturing test, and experience with MATLAB, Python, and test automation. A U.S. Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Experience with data acquisition and processing with MATLAB, Python and other programming languages.
• Experience with test automation and report generation.
• Strong root cause analysis of non‑conforming hardware, software, and firmware.
• Clear communication across teams to solve production issues.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own test activities in production and maintain production test flow.
• Troubleshoot complex infrared systems issues found during testing.
• Develop test work instructions for technicians and MES training.
• Build library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Maintain and develop software for test automation, data analytics, and reporting.
• Analyze test data and produce detailed defect reports.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing to support returns and failure analysis.
• Provide feedback to early-stage test design for NPIs.
• Optimize test strategies to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment for precision and reliability.
