Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Laser/Camera Test Engineer to own production test flow, troubleshoot infrared systems, and advance automation, data analytics, and test interfaces in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.

You will generate test instructions, train technicians, analyze data, and collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing to resolve defects and improve products through NPI and production stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Experience with data acquisition and processing with MATLAB, Python and other programming languages.
• Experience with test automation and report generation.
• Strong root cause analysis for non-conforming hardware, software, and firmware.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience integrating electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and production test flow.
• Troubleshoot infrared systems and resolve complex issues found during testing.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system checkouts to component validation.
• Generate test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Maintain and develop software for test automation, data analytics, and report generation.
• Analyze test data and provide detailed reports to identify defects and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams on returns and failure analysis.
• Provide feedback for early-stage test design and NPIs.
