GEI Consultants, Inc. is seeking an established California Water Conveyance Practice Leader to support delivering water storage projects for municipal, private, and agricultural clients.

The role may report to multiple California offices and requires entrepreneurial leadership aligned with GEI’s Strategic Plan. You will develop a growth strategy for California, build and retain a team of engineers and planners, and differentiate GEI through market knowledge and collaboration with national

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience related to water industry in a civil engineering role focusing on pressurized and non-pressurized pipeline systems.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering multiple water conveyance related projects.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to lead the design and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, studies, proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development activities with key clients to win new projects.
• Serve as Project Manager for projects and programs within a client portfolio.
• Lead and manage project teams through all phases of project delivery.
• Mentor staff and build long-term client relationships.
