Job summary

GSI Water Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Hydrogeologist with project management experience in California water supply issues to help manage a growing base of groundwater projects. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic team.

The successful candidate will lead analyses, coordinate field programs, develop budgets, mentor staff, and contribute to client relations while advancing sustainable water resources in California.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in hydrogeology or geology plus 6+ years of experience; or Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience.
• 2+ years managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete complex analyses and calculations.
• Manage and organize field programs and conduct technical briefings.
• Interpret subsurface data.
• Generate proposals and technical reports.
• Participate in technical reviews of project work.
• Develop project budgets and scopes for review by senior PM.
• Participate in contract review.
• Develop and maintain client contact before and after completion of job.
• Participate in marketing activities.
• Mentor entry-level and mid-career staff to develop field, data interpretation, and project management skills.
