Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Rock Hill, SC who will work with the Bakery Manager to drive guest satisfaction, manage cake production, and maintain NbC standards. The role focuses on team leadership, training, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail or food service, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and be proficient in MS Word/Excel/Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and fosters a positive work environment.
• Partners with the Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, and inventory control.
• Supports the Bakery Manager in recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing performance feedback and coaching.
• Ensures product, service, bakery environment, and visual standards meet NbC policies and food safety requirements.
• Assists in operational tasks including scheduling, revenue reporting, and payroll processing.
