Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Gastonia, NC. You will work with the Bakery Manager and team to ensure top-quality cakes and a warm, welcoming guest experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, inventory control, and executing NbC standards to drive sales and profitability. You will help recruit, train, and coach team members, manage daily responsibilities, and support payroll processing while upholding food safety and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education a plus.
• Demonstrated success coaching others, directing work and achieving productivity goals.
• Comfort with basic office software: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize guest experience and model superior engagement.
• Assist Bakery Manager in leading all guest experience, cake production, brand and store presentation.
• Support recruitment, training, assigning daily tasks, and providing feedback.
• Ensuring product, service, bakery environment and visual standards are upheld and food safety guidelines are followed.
• Assist with daily operations, including production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and payroll processing.
• Coordinate special-order fulfillment for individuals and corporate accounts and assist with large orders.
• Assist in opening/closing duties including cash reconciliations and deposits.
• Contribute to local marketing events and community brand-building efforts.
• Maintain hands-on knowledge of bakery roles and perform tasks as needed.
