Job summary

Off The Hook in Zachary, LA is hiring a Prep Cook to uphold our premium Real Cajun Real Fast standards. You’ll set up stations, prep ingredients, and support the kitchen team to deliver consistent Cajun dishes in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of restaurant experience, is 16 or older, and can complete required training. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; driver’s license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized individual capable of handling multiple priorities.
• Must be 16 years of age or older and able to complete required trainings.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some college is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (vegetables, sauces, meat prep).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff.
• Follow GM instructions and report issues.
• Clean up station and handle leftovers.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure food is high quality and timely.
