Job summary

Off The Hook in Zachary, LA is seeking a Cook to help deliver our premium Real Cajun Real Fast dishes in a fast-paced kitchen. You will prep and cook meals, maintain high standards, keep stations clean, and support the team to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of restaurant experience, are detail-oriented, able to work varied shifts including weekends, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license is a plus; training provided.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends, and travel as needed for work related functions and training
• 1 year of restaurant experience
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
• Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food, to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests
• Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
• Work closely with other kitchen team and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations
