Job summary

Off The Hook is seeking a Prep Cook to uphold our premium Real Cajun Real Fast standards. You’ll set up stations, prepare ingredients, and work with a fast-paced kitchen team to deliver consistent quality.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of restaurant experience, can work varied shifts including weekends, and are at least 16 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. Join a Cajun concept focused on safety, speed, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• 1 year of restaurant experience.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow GM's instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
