Hook & Reel is seeking a bartender to join a fast-paced, high-energy team focused on delivering outstanding guest experiences. You will greet guests, answer questions about the menu, and craft both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with consistent quality.

The role emphasizes strong communication, the ability to work under pressure, and teamwork in a lively dining environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bartending experience.
• Valid State-Mandated Food Handlers Certification.
• Valid State-Mandated Alcohol Handlers Certification.
• Strong communication and a passion for delivering world-class service at every touchpoint.
• Experience with POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Answer questions regarding the menu and Hook & Reel brand.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Consistently create drinks to ensure consistent quality of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Clean and organize the bar to keep sightlines clear.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing quality service and checking in during dining.
• Inform management of special requests or guest concerns.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, hospitality-focused attitude.
• Multi-task between bar and dining room orders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of classic cocktails to properly execute orders.
• Be a team player and assist others as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
