Job summary

Hook & Reel is seeking a friendly, guest-focused Server to greet guests, take accurate orders, and deliver a lively dining experience. You will juggle front-of-house duties, assist with bar and dining room orders, and communicate clearly with the kitchen to accommodate allergies and special requests.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant experience.
• Hold a valid State-Mandated Food Handlers Certification.
• Hold a valid State-Mandated Alcohol Handlers Certification.
• Point-of-Sale systems experience.
• Strong communication and a passion for delivering world-class service at every touchpoint.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Answer guest questions regarding the menu and brand.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Listen attentively to guests to ensure correct orders.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Clean and organize the front-of-house server station.
• Observe and monitor table turnover by noting occupied, dirty or clean tables.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing quality service and checking in regularly throughout the dining experience.
• Inform management of special requests or guest concerns.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and management regarding allergy orders.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and hospitality-focused attitude.
• Multi-task and balance between bar and dining room orders.
• Be a team player, assisting others to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
