Job summary

Catawba Two Kings Casino is seeking a Cage Assistant Shift Manager to support the Cage Shift Manager and Cage Manager in overseeing all cage operations, ensuring accurate transactions and AML compliance. You will lead staff, train teams, and maintain guest service standards in a fast-paced casino environment.

The role requires strong leadership, cash handling, and familiarity with cage management systems. You may supervise across shifts and collaborate with compliance, audit, and surveillance

Qualifications

Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
Excellent math, cash handling, and reconciliation skills.
Proficiency with cage management systems and Microsoft Office (incl. Excel).
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Assist in day-to-day cage operations and cashier functions.
Ensure transactions comply with policies and AML requirements.
Supervise cage staff and ensure adequate coverage across shifts.
Monitor inventory and balance procedures at shift close.
Help with scheduling, payroll, and evaluations.
Act as Cage Shift Manager or Cage Manager when needed.
Coordinate with compliance, audit, accounting, and surveillance teams.
Contribute to staff training and process improvements.
Investigate guest or cashier discrepancies professionally.
