Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking a dependable kitchen assistant to prepare breakfast and/or lunch, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering functions. You will perform all kitchen functions, maintain sanitation, and help ensure meals meet quality and safety standards.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and adherence to recipes and HACCP guidelines. No remote work; on-site operations support a busy school cafeteria environment.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience handling cash and serving lines is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and/or lunch per menu plan and Opaa! recipes.
• Assist with serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and stocked; observe FIFO.
• Assist in keeping inventory and handling administrative tasks as needed.
