Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking cafeteria kitchen staff to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist serving lines, and participate in catering functions.

You will perform multiple kitchen roles, follow recipes, and ensure food safety and quality in a fast-paced school environment. Responsibilities include set-up, batch cooking, equipment operation, inventory control, and daily documentation. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and customer service skills in a team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate equipment with proper certification and safety.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; practice FIFO inventory.
• Prepare baked goods as required and present attractively to customers.
• Maintain daily production records and document hours in ADP.
• Assist in compliance with HHFKA/CACFP regulations and safety policies.
