Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is hiring a versatile kitchen worker to prepare breakfast and lunch, participate in catering, and perform all kitchen positions. You will help set up serving lines, maintain temperatures, and ensure food is presented warmly to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos, and write simple correspondence
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 60 pounds and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Follows HACCP and safe food handling procedures at all times
• Experience in food service or production is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure food is held at proper temperatures
• Prepare foods per menu plans and recipes; plan ahead for next day menus
• Operate equipment with proper certification; maintain equipment cleanliness
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized
• Assist with cleaning kitchen and cafeteria areas and restocking supplies
• Maintain FIFO inventory; ensure cooler/storage areas are clean
