Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen helper to prepare breakfast and lunch items, assist in serving lines, and support occasional catering. You will perform multiple kitchen roles, from prep to service, following Opaa! recipes and quality standards.

Responsibilities include line setup, temperature control, inventory organization, and basic administrative duties such as meal counting. This role requires adherence to safety policies and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one-month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate with others.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle measurements.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with basic reasoning.
• Ability to operate listed kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and maintain food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and recipes; plan ahead for next-day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; practice FIFO inventory.
• Handle administrative tasks including cash register use and meal reconciliation.
