Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a versatile kitchen helper to prepare breakfast and lunch, operate equipment, and maintain cleanliness in a school cafeteria setting.

You will work with serving lines, follow recipes and HACCP, handle cash if needed, and participate in daily production records; candidates should have High School Diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience.
• Ability to follow recipes and HACCP guidelines.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure hot/cold holding temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes, batch cook as needed.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain neat, clean and organized work areas.
