Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking staff to prepare and serve meals in the kitchen and cafeteria settings across multiple locations. Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, assisting with food preparation per menu plans, and maintaining clean, organized workstations.

Employees will follow safety procedures, monitor temperatures, and participate in daily administrative tasks such as timekeeping and meal counts. This role requires physical stamina and adherence to HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure foods are held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to the menu plan and Opaa! recipes, and batch cook as needed.
• Operate equipment and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Handle customer monies and operate cash register or POS as required.
• Submit hours worked and other administrative tasks daily.
