Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking on-call kitchen staff to support meal service across locations. Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, maintaining proper food temperatures, and assisting with menu-based food prep per Opaa! recipes.

This role requires the ability to follow standardized recipes, keep areas clean, and assist with inventory and basic administrative tasks. Training on HACCP and safety is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos and to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure and to calculate ratios and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Handle customer monies at service time and run cash register; process meal reconciliation.
