Job summary

Sightglass Coffee is seeking a Shift Lead to support cafe operations by keeping staff focused on delivering great customer service, maintaining productivity, and enforcing cafe policies during the shift. As a leader-on-duty, you will step in on the floor, delegate tasks, collaborate with other leaders to keep operations smooth, and help shape a positive guest experience.

You will monitor staff performance, communicate needs to management, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient cafe environment

Responsibilities

• Shift Leads support cafe by ensuring employees are customer focused, productive, and following all policies and procedures throughout their assigned shift.
• Shift Leads will assume cafe responsibility anytime they are on the floor and will serve as a leader-on-duty, often collaborating with other internal leaders to ensure smooth operations.
• Shift Leads are expected to be aware of the needs, policies, and procedures of the cafe and are expected to delegate tasks to the team throughout the shift.
• Shift Leads are responsible for sharing feedback with management regarding shift outcomes and cafe needs.
