Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Lead to drive daily operations, mentor a team, and ensure exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced cafe setting.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of customer service leadership in hospitality or coffee, can lift 25+ lbs, and are authorized to work in the U.S. A sign-on bonus is offered along with training, PTO, sick time, and holiday pay multipliers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a customer service leadership position in hospitality, coffee, or beverage.
• Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Full Time: 30-40 hours per week, 4-5 days with 2 peak days (Fri–Sun).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify process).
• Barista accreditation and training program provided.
• Tenure-based paid time off and sick time.
• 1.5x pay on select holidays.

Responsibilities

• Craft beautiful coffee and matcha products.
• Provide exceptional hospitality to Blank Street customers.
• Help train new employees to follow recipes and store processes.
• Open and close the store safely with checklist compliance.
• Handle and resolve customer issues that arise.
• Lead initiatives to increase foot traffic, new customers, daily sales, and profitability.
