Capital One's Café Ambassador role in Boston invites you to be the face of a mission to change banking for good. You’ll guide guests through digital tools and financial health initiatives in a vibrant community hub, not behind a teller window.

You’ll blend high-energy service with authentic conversations, helping guests leverage Capital One’s products while promoting inclusive experiences, events, and local partnerships within the Cafe. This position emphasizes impact over quotas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Be a Natural Connector: Engage with guests in a high-energy environment that serves as a community space and a local coffee shop (you are a banking guide, not a barista).
• Serve as a Brand Advocate: Share the value of Capital One’s products through genuine conversation, not transactions, with no hard sales quotas.
• Simplify the Complex: Guide customers through the digital ecosystem, helping them use mobile tools and troubleshoot tech issues.
• Facilitate Purposeful Impact: Host local events that promote financial health and support Capital One’s community partnerships.
• Advocate & Problem-Solve: Represent customers, resolve issues per compliance, and de-escalate when needed.
• Act as a Culture Carrier: Foster an inclusive, detail-oriented, adaptable team environment.
• Stay Agile & Engaged: Move throughout the Cafe to connect with the community and maintain guest flow.
