Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a CAD System Administrator to oversee the PremierOne CAD platform and related critical public safety systems at a Broward County customer site in Florida. The role requires hands-on experience with virtualization, container platforms, and database administration, with a focus on high availability and CJIS compliance.

The position is onsite five days a week in Plantation, FL, with responsibilities spanning system monitoring, upgrades, patches, and incident response,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting mission-critical systems.
• CJIS Security Policy compliance experience and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the P1 CAD application environment.
• Maintain 24/7 operational readiness for CAD, mobile, RMS interfaces, and supporting infrastructure.
• Manage virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere.
• Administer containerized services running on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Document system configurations and change management activities.
• Lead efforts to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
