Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in AAS drafting/CAD or relevant equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of drafting experience, or 6+ years without AAS in electric utility drafting/CAD.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise and maintain engineering drawings and sketches.
• Maintain facilities and equipment documents and records.
• Obtain information from verbal input, sketches, and site visits.
• Perform mathematical calculations required for assigned work.
• Proficient with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Coordinate with Company groups to perform work safely and efficiently.
• Read vendor prints and operating instructions, incorporating data into work.
• Assist in training AEP employees in basic skills.
