Job summary

Chitra is seeking an ID and CAC Services professional to support identification card issuance and DEERS/RAPIDS operations at TJAGLCS in Charlottesville, VA. The role serves military members, retirees, eligible civilian employees, and families while safeguarding materials and verifying eligibility.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least five years in the function, with experience in conflict resolution and briefing large groups.

Qualifications

• Review source documents, verify eligibility, discuss entitlements, and issue military ID cards and CACs.
• Generate DD Form 2842 and/or DD Form 1172 for authentication, validation, and random sampling.
• Register, process, and maintain information in DEERS and RAPIDS.
• Perform VO and SSM duties, including RAPIDS roster, system privileges, and certifications.
• Account for and control CAC-related stock items.
• Work in accordance with DoD policy, Army regulations, and TJAGLCS procedures.
• High school diploma or GED required; at least five years in the function and conflict resolution.
• Ability to brief or instruct large groups on the functional area.
• Knowledge of policies and changes within the past three years.

Responsibilities

• Review source documents, verify eligibility, discuss entitlements, and issue military ID cards and CACs to eligible recipients.
• Issue Government ID cards (DA Form 1602), identification tags, and Geneva Convention cards to eligible personnel.
• Generate DD Form 2842 and/or DD Form 1172 for authentication, validation, and random sampling.
• Register, process, and maintain information in the DEERS and RAPIDS systems.
• Perform VO and SSM duties, including maintaining the RAPIDS user roster and managing system privileges.
• Account for and control CAC-related stock items.
• Follow DoD policy, Army regulations, and local TJAGLCS policy.
