Job summary

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) seeks a Verifying Official ID Card Operations role near the Rock Island Arsenal. Responsible for verification, issuance, and security of military IDs, CACs, and related documents for active members, retirees, and eligible dependents.

Responsibilities include RAPIDS/DEERS maintenance, report preparation, and staff supervision. Prior CAC or Gov’t contract exposure is a plus; willingness to obtain RAPIDS certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a site lead or customer service role, preferably HR-related.
• Ability to work at an accelerated pace.
• Favorable criminal background check and security investigation.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient with MS Office suite and basic office equipment.
• Must complete RAPIDS certification within seven business days of hire.
• Typing speed of 25 wpm.
• CAC or similar Government contract experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with military environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Verifying Official for ID Cards and CAC issuance.
• Install new hardware components and manage printers and supplies.
• Maintain DEERS and RAPIDS systems; review audit reports.
• Screen, verify eligibility, and discuss entitlements per AFI 36-3026(I).
• Issue authorizations (e.g., DA Form 1602) to eligible personnel.
• Prepare weekly/monthly activity reports and maintain documentation.
• Maintain security protocols, access keys, and building security at sites.
• Mentor and train other Verifying Officials; report attendance to command.
• Operate standard office equipment and perform routine maintenance on devices.
