Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Cable Assembler in Faribault, MN. You will assemble cable products per SOPs, operate production equipment, and perform quality inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong reading, writing, and math skills in English are required, with adherence to PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
• Ability to read, write, and follow work instructions in English.
• Basic math skills to interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, and production documents.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Commitment to following PPE and workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable products according to work instructions and product specifications.
• Read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Operate and maintain production equipment and tools used during assembly processes.
• Complete quality inspections to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Accurately track materials used during manufacturing processes.
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
