Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Product/Sales Manager to oversee a product line, drive strategic sales initiatives and coordinate with logistics, marketing and purchasing to maximize revenues. The role involves on-site customer engagement, competitive analysis and developing long-term product strategies for growth.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Marketing or Business Management and at least five years of product sales experience, with strong communication and ERP/Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Five years product sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry and B2B selling practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product line to meet financial goals and analyze performance vs. competitors.
• Plan and manage sales efforts and procurement scheduling.
• Visit customers on job sites to provide technical support and drive sales.
• Develop short and long-range product line strategy with profitability objectives.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Marketing and Purchasing to optimize sales initiatives.
• Deliver product presentations and training to sales force and customers.
