Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Product Sales professional to manage a product line, drive sales, and optimize profitability across customer sites. You will analyze trends, plan purchases, and present solutions to the sales team and customers.

The role requires a solid background in product sales, knowledge of construction products, and strong communication skills. You will work with cross-functional teams to enhance revenue and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field; five (5) years product sales experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product-line revenue by tracking performance against competitors and industry trends.
• Plan and manage sales efforts; oversee optimal purchasing schedules.
• Visit customers on job sites to start sales and provide technical support.
• Develop short and long-range product-line strategy and profitability goals.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate purchases, delivery, and service/warranty activities.
• Deliver product presentations and training to sales force and customers.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Marketing, Purchasing to drive sales initiatives.
