Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, seeks a Product Sales Manager to drive revenue for assigned product lines. You will plan sales, manage inventory, visit job sites and deliver technical support to customers.

With a background in marketing or business management and several years of product sales experience, you will develop strategy, train the sales force, and collaborate with logistics and purchasing to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field and five (5) years product sales experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to forecast, plan and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned product or product line to maximize revenue.
• Plans and manages sales efforts; oversees optimum purchasing schedule.
• Visits customers on job sites to initiate sales and provide technical and customer support.
• Develops short and long-range product line strategy plans.
• Monitors inventory and coordinates purchase and receipt.
• Develops and delivers product presentations and training.
• Works with Logistics, Marketing, Purchasing to optimize sales initiatives.
• Analyzes consumer trends, channel dynamics and strategies.
• Drives value-added sales process and manages complex proposals.
