Job summary

Altria in Richmond, VA, seeks a Manager, C3 Operations Logistics & Services to lead third-party operations at the Cofer Conversion Center. You’ll supervise the third-party workforce, manage contracts, budgets, and compliance, and coordinate with internal operating companies to meet manufacturing needs.

The role offers a hybrid work model with on-site collaboration three days a week (Tue–Thu) and remote work options on Mon and Fri, plus a strong compensation package and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, logistics, production planning, supply chain, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong oral and written presentation skills, as well as confirmed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Validated systems skills, including SAP.
• Demonstrated manufacturing process expertise and problem-solving skills to identify, develop, and lead implementation of projects.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the work of the third-party workforce and acting as liaison between the third-party organization and Altria’s operating companies.
• Maintaining relationships with supporting third-party organizations including technical and systems support.
• Understanding and managing contracts, changes, renewals, and extensions as needed.
• Overseeing facility utilities and budget by establishing annual cost-center budgets and end-of-month charge-backs.
• Leading execution of ongoing work including returned goods processing, tax stamping, product destruction, consumer complaint processing, etc.
• Receiving requests for new work from operating companies and delivering business needs with internal and external partners.
• Ensuring compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements and planning for future workforce needs.
• Maintaining knowledge of SAP, ODC, Altria Buyer and other key systems.
