Job summary

The C-Store Manager MIT will oversee day-to-day store operations at the assigned Refuel location, including scheduling, training, and supervising the team and the assistant managers. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

You will manage labor, inventory, and expenses, monitor metrics, implement promotions, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• C-Store and/or retail manager experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Responsible for store profits and controllable expenses, including labor, inventory levels, and cash handling.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Schedule and manage labor hours to align with traffic patterns and Store Labor Model targets.
• Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and well-kept.
• Maintain proper in-stock levels by ordering product on schedule.
• Monitor daily gasoline competition, perform price surveys, and complete daily paperwork.
• Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs.
• Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify trends.
• Execute monthly promotions and ensure advertising/signage is posted on time.
• Enforce safety and security policies and report incidents.
