Job summary

Refuel is seeking a C-Store Manager to lead day-to-day store operations at an assigned location. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, training, and ensure excellent customer service while controlling labor and inventory costs.

Flexible availability including evenings and weekends is required; travel up to 10% may be needed. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position at Refuel, with a focus on driving profitability and a safe, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail or c-store team and managing store operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-service focus.
• Understanding of c-store operations and profit driving.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop staff.
• Capable of scheduling to match traffic and labor targets.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage store day-to-day operations including scheduling and supervising team members and assistant managers.
• Control expenses, labor, inventory, and cash handling.
• Recruit, train, and develop team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Schedule labor to align with traffic and Store Labor Model targets.
• Execute daily operating procedures to keep store clean, stocked, and organized.
• Place product orders on schedule to maintain in-stock levels.
• Monitor gasoline price surveys and complete daily paperwork.
• Track cash over/short, shrinkage, and drive-offs.
• Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify trends.
• Implement monthly promotions and ensure ads/signage are posted on time.
• Enforce safety and security policies and report incidents.
• Adhere to Employee Handbook policies.
