Job summary

S&S Fuels Management in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, supervise staff, and maintain a customer-focused, profitable store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to cover shifts and ensure smooth performance during peak times.

Ideal candidates have retail sales experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of merchandising and market dynamics. This role is on-site with competitive hourly compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in retail sales required.
• Experience in C-Stores is preferred.
• Experience in managing a retail sales location is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Full understanding of competitive relationships and market drivers
• Strong merchandising skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, payroll, merchandising, and customer relations.
• Maintain good customer relations and resolve customer complaints, in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare and transmit daily bookkeeping, invoicing and gasoline data as required.
• Ability to complete daily banking.
• Troubleshoot daily close out and shift sales analysis.
• Assist the Store Manager with shift coverage when there are no other employees available to work.
• Safeguard and account for cash received and disbursed and be responsible for banking requirements.
