Books-A-Million in Harrisburg (2nd & Charles brand) is seeking a Buyer to evaluate and intake used products from customers into the store inventory while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. You’ll quote customers, process buybacks, and help research market trends to inform stock decisions.

Prior buying or retail experience and strong communication skills are preferred, with emphasis on maintaining merchandising standards and supporting company promotions.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required, buying experience preferred.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Successful completion of all background screenings.

Responsabilités

• Provides the highest level of customer service to each customer including adjacent sales floor areas.
• Maintains merchandising standards in assigned area according to Company policies and procedures.
• Promotes company initiatives when interacting with customers.
• Ensures efficient evaluation, processing, and/or merchandising of product.
• Ensures customers receive a fast and friendly buyback experience.
• Researches and inputs product and customer information into the system.
• Provides quotes to customers for purchase of product and authorizes intake into inventory.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the assigned area.
