Job summary

Books A Million in Harrisburg, PA seeks a seasonal Buyer to evaluate used product from customers and stock it in-store inventory. You will deliver friendly service, research market trends, and process buybacks while maintaining merchandising standards across the floor.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience and good communication skills, with the ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks. Training and incentives are provided during the season.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required, buying experience preferred.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides the highest level of customer service to each customer including adjacent sales floor areas.
• Maintains merchandising standards in assigned area according to Company policies and procedures.
• Promotes all Company initiatives with customers, including Sales Promotions and Text to Mobile.
• Ensures efficient evaluation, processing, and merchandising of product.
• Ensures customers receive a fast and friendly buyback experience.
• Inputs product and customer information into the system as per procedure.
• Provides quotes to customers for purchase of product and authorizes intake into inventory.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the assigned area and workplace.
