Job summary

Books-A-Million's 2nd & Charles stores are seeking a Buyer who will evaluate books, music, movies, and collectibles at the buyback counter, turning accepted items into discoveries for customers. You'll greet customers, make confident offers, and ensure the trade process is fast, fair, and friendly.

You should enjoy books, demonstrate strong communication, and be comfortable with technology and cash registers.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication; background screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Buyback: evaluate, process, and merchandise traded product efficiently.
• Provide fair offers and ensure accurate intake into inventory.
• Deliver fast, friendly buyback experiences and responsive customer service.
• Assist on the sales floor and at the register as needed.
