Job summary

Maui Brewing Co. Kaʻanapali is hiring a Butcher to join our Back of House team. You will cut and prepare meats, manage inventory with FIFO, and help maintain high standards of food safety and portion control in a fast-paced kitchen.

Shifts run 8:00am–4:00pm with a minimum three shifts per week. Pay is $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits and earned wage access through DailyPay.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and portion meats according to company specifications.
• Prepare proteins for daily kitchen production and service.
• Receive, inspect, store, and rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain consistent portion sizes to support quality and cost control.
• Operate butcher equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
• Keep the butcher station clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Minimize waste and maximize product yield.
• Communicate inventory needs and quality concerns to management.
• Assist the culinary team with production and other duties as assigned.
