Job summary

Maui Brewing Co. Kailua is seeking back-of-house team members for full-time or part-time roles in a craft beer kitchen. Pay is $23–$24 per hour plus tips, with DailyPay access to wages before payday.

Location: Maui Brewing Co. Kailua. Benefits include shifting meals, employee discounts, 401-like PTO after one year, and health insurance eligibility after 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant.
• Previous experience as a food runner, expo, or line cook preferred.
• Familiarity with stations: Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, Pizza.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders from the POS and ensure all components are prepared for plating.
• Prepare and deliver orders accurately and timely while keeping order flow smooth.
• Communicate important information between FOH and BOH staff.
• Answer questions about the menu and ingredients with clarity.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation practices and comply with food safety rules.

Location: Maui Brewing Co. Kailua

Status: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay Rate:$23–$24/hour + tips (AND get early access to your wages before payday through DailyPay)

Tips:All kitchen team members also receive tips (service fee - 2% of all food sales) added to their paycheck adding an additional $1-$3 per hour.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Receive order from the POS and ensure all necessary components are prepared and ready for plating.
• Prepare and deliver orders accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining a smooth flow of orders.
• Effectively communicate important information between both FOH and BOH staff.
• Able to confidently answer all questions regarding the menu and ingredients.
• Follow proper health, safety, and sanitation practices while adhering to food safety regulations.

Summary of Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant
• Previous experience as a food runner, expo, or line cook preferred
• Familiarity with ALL of the following stations: Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, Pizza
• Ability to complete tasks under stressful situations and quickly problem solve any issue
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to follow direction
• Reliable and able to work scheduled shifts
• Additional $1-$3 per hour in tips (dependent on shift & sales)
