Job summary

Maui Brewing Co. Kailua is seeking experienced kitchen professionals for back-of-house roles in Kailua, HI. Full-Time or Part-Time positions with pay rates of $26–$28 per hour plus tips, and early access to wages through DailyPay.

You will supervise daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety, manage inventory, mentor staff, and help plan menus. Strong leadership, sanitation knowledge, and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a fast-paced full-service kitchen.
• Experience across Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, Pizza stations.
• Supervisory or lead role experience.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure timely and quality food preparation.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards per local and federal regs.
• Manage inventory, orders, and waste to control food costs.

Maui Brewing Co. Kailua is looking for top-notch back-of-house team members to join our craft 'ohana!

Location: Maui Brewing Co. Kailua

Status: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay Rate:$26–$28/hour + tips (AND get early access to your wages before payday through DailyPay)

Tips:All kitchen team members also receive tips (service fee - 2% of all food sales) added to their paycheck adding an additional $1-$3 per hour.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure timely and quality food preparation.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to control food costs effectively.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen team members to promote skill development and maintain high performance.
• Collaborate with management to plan menus, implement new recipes, and adjust kitchen operations as needed.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
• Resolve any operational issues or conflicts within the kitchen promptly and professionally.

Summary of Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen in a full-service restaurant.
• Experience with ALL of the following stations: Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, Pizza
• Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a kitchen setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to follow direction
• Reliable and able to work scheduled shifts
• Additional $1-$3 per hour in tips (dependent on shift & sales)
