Business Office Manager - Behavioral Health

The Business Office Manager oversees internal business processes including accounts payable, payroll, vendor contracts, and record management. This role contributes to financial stability by managing daily operations efficiently and meeting target deadlines.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Processing employee payroll accurately and timely, including reconciliation, bonuses, and resolving discrepancies. Communicating payroll issues with staff and the corporate office.
  • Managing AR invoices for vendor services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Negotiating vendor contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Establishing and maintaining office supply par levels and managing procurement.
  • Handling purchase requests, invoice tracking, and working with the CEO on Capital Expense requests.
  • Reconciling month-end reports.
  • Optimizing office processes for efficiency and productivity.
  • Supporting the Executive Team with budget tracking and expense projections.
  • Assisting with Kronos issues, overtime, and FTE management.
  • Responding to employee payroll and HR-related inquiries.
  • Supporting departmental budget and policy questions.
  • Processing check requests, petty cash, and credit card receipts.
  • Verifying benefits, collecting co-pays, establishing payment plans, and coordinating discharge financials.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with Kronos and proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Notary Public or eligibility to become one within the first year.
  • Excellent communication skills.
