We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist with strong business acumen, technical skills, and a strategic mindset. The ideal candidate will foster growth, build relationships, and collaborate across teams, using a consultative sales approach and industry knowledge to develop effective outbound strategies.
The Business Development Specialist builds relationships with trade suppliers, identifies sales opportunities, and generates new business via outbound prospecting. Responsibilities include engaging potential clients, maintaining prospect databases, collaborating across departments to increase market share and brand awareness, driving supplier participation in events, supporting membership retention, and utilizing market insights to refine sales strategies. The role also involves managing CRM data, tracking account activity, and helping achieve business development targets.
Travel to off-site events up to 2 weeks/year; additional travel may be required (10-20%).
