Description

Location: US-Minnesota-Remote

As a Restorative Business Development Specialist (RBDS), you will partner with Dental Labs and distribution as well as sell directly to General Dentists and Specialists. You will work on transforming an analog process with innovative solutions that educate patients, increase treatment acceptance, digitize lab workflows, and produce easier, faster, and more accessible restorations. Our goal is to help practitioners grow their business and increase patient satisfaction.

Role expectations

  • Must live in territory: Colorado, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Wyoming
  • Meet or exceed all quarterly and annual goals through effective sales strategy and territory management.
  • Develop high-level strategic customer relationships, focusing on customer loyalty and multiple relationships within top laboratories. Identify strategic business opportunities, establish relationships with key decision makers, and position Align as a comprehensive solution provider for Orthodontic care and Digital Impression needs.
  • Plan, organize, and manage laboratory selling efforts, translating business strategies into actionable objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, create realistic plans, and manage sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Build relationships with distribution partners and local key experts.
  • Develop expertise in lab and iTero digital workflows, becoming a local subject matter expert.
  • Partner with industry influencers and peers to build a territory business plan, generate interest, and sell to General Dentists and Specialists both directly and indirectly.
  • Leverage programs and business models to facilitate multiple unit orders.
  • Understand customer needs, recommend appropriate iTero products, and meet practice goals.
  • Grow the business by acquiring new accounts and maintaining a robust sales pipeline and CRM data.
  • Collaborate with customers, labs, business developers, trainers, and support teams to ensure a positive customer experience, including during product trials.
  • Work with the iTero field team to promote digital dentistry, especially in restorative areas.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales and business development experience, with a proven performance record.
  • Experience selling medical devices, capital equipment, dental products, or related B2B fields.
  • Strong knowledge of restorative dental, clinical, and laboratory processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
