Job Title: Business Development Specialist

General Function
Responsible for supporting the Business Development Team in an administrative capacity. Serving as a customer support advocate, this position will focus on specific tasks that foster client growth/retention as well as keeping our Business Development Team on task and as efficient as possible. Tasks include platform management of all relevant client information, revenue opportunity, dates that tasks are due, RFP platform management, etc. A commitment to practicing excellent organizational skills, communication skills, with the desire and ability to learn quickly. Workings as a part of the team to meet deadlines, but also being able to work independently is crucial to the success in this position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributes to the strategic plan for sales growth, including short term and long-term objectives. Identifies opportunities for growth improvements slash opportunities. Assist with the development of forecasts and revenue streams.
Develop and foster relationships and collaborate with all employees and current slash prospective clients.
Work closely with information technology (IT) support to express the organizational IT needs from a services standpoint, that once by strategically sharing feedback from the market.
Collaborates with business development, driving managing responses to received RFP’s.
Responsible for CRM platform that holds all client activity, client contact information pipeline and all initiatives that hold a timeline for response slash action. Maintaining client records and documenting processes.
Leverages leadership skills to make sure that all client commitments are adhered to and successfully delivered.
Direct the participation of the company's sales personnel at trade shows and conferences.
Ensuring a positive and professional client experience.
Managing client inquiries via phone, e-mail, online, or in person.
Directing client complaints or complex queries to relevant departments in a timely manner.
Providing clients with technical assistance on products and services.
Expediting serious issues to management toward proper resolution.
Building positive client relations by checking in regularly as directed and following up on active processes.
Identifying potential client services concerns and facilitating proactive intervention steps.
Keeping track of new products, as well as emerging trends that can assist in company growth.
Recommending product improvements based on client services feedback.

Required Qualifications:
HIPAA trained and/or the ability to work with and protect extremely confidential patient and employee information.
Some travel to support client events.
Educational Requirements:
College Bachelor's degree preferred.
Driver’s License in good standing.
Physical Requirements:
In an 8 hour day the employee may be asked to lift/carry 20 lbs.
In an 8 hour day the employee may stand/walk approximately 1 hour.
In an 8 hour day the employee sits approximately 7 hours.
