Job description

We're partnering with a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider as they continue to expand their North American Analytics business.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the U.S. and Canada territory, selling proprietary historical market data, order book analytics, liquidity insights, market behavior datasets, and trading intelligence solutions to institutional investors, banks, trading firms, and quantitative market participants.

The business sits at the intersection of market structure, data, and analytics, providing clients with unique datasets used for investment research, quantitative strategy development, execution optimization, liquidity analysis, and risk management.

What You'll Be Selling
  • Historical market data
  • Order book and trade analytics
  • Liquidity and execution analytics
  • Market participant behavior datasets
  • Trading and market structure intelligence
  • Quantitative research datasets
  • Proprietary exchange-derived analytics
  • Data delivered via APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise data solutions
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive net-new business across a designated territory covering the U.S. and Canada
  • Build relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, banks, broker-dealers, proprietary trading firms, market makers, and quantitative investment firms
  • Engage portfolio managers, traders, quants, researchers, risk teams, market structure specialists, and heads of data
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close
  • Identify opportunities to expand adoption of historical data and analytics products within existing client organizations
  • Partner with product specialists and data teams to position solutions against complex client use cases
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline while consistently achieving revenue targets
Required Background
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience within market data, financial data, capital markets, exchange technology, trading infrastructure, or financial technology
  • Experience selling market data, exchange data, analytics, benchmark data, index products, data feeds, reference data, pricing data, or alternative datasets
  • Demonstrated success generating new logos and developing business within institutional financial markets
  • Existing relationships across hedge funds, asset managers, banks, proprietary trading firms, market makers, or quantitative investment firms
  • Strong understanding of how institutional investors and trading firms leverage data within investment, trading, research, and risk workflows
  • Ability to operate independently, manage a large territory, and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles
Why This Opportunity?

North America represents one of the organization's largest growth opportunities, creating significant runway for someone who enjoys building business and developing new client relationships.

Unlike many data providers, the product suite is rooted in proprietary market infrastructure and trading activity, giving clients access to differentiated datasets they cannot easily source elsewhere. You'll be selling highly specialized solutions with clear use cases across investment research, quantitative trading, market structure analysis, and execution strategy.

For market data sales professionals looking to move beyond generic data products and work with some of the most sophisticated participants in global financial markets, this is a rare opportunity to own a meaningful territory while benefiting from the resources, reputation, and stability of an established global market leader.
